A journey stopped before it had even begun...

... As I made my way to the docks of Anvil to stowaway on board a vessel bound for Daggerfall I was grabbed by a cloaked cohort of men and women... Mannimarco's men... I had heard whispers, but I never thought them to be true... I was taken to a cave and laid down on top of an altar, bound by my captors holding my arms down... Then she did it, this Priestess she took her blade and thrust it into my chest, as the life left my eyes the last thing I remember seeing was an essence leave my body and enter a gem held by one of her allies... and then I died...
Or at least so I thought, however I did wake again, in the blackest coldest reaches of Oblivion, a voice called out to me, a ghostly saintly voice, he told me that I had been "Soul Shriven" by Molag Bal (my soul has been stolen) and thus was a prisoner of the Daedric Prince in his Realm of Cold Harbour and that I am destined to save Tamriel from the Daedric Scourge. The man told me that a half-giant named Lyris Titanborn would help me in my efforts to escape and that I was to seek her out immediately.
The Prophet
I did all that I could do, I left my cage and joined the rebellious fight of the other Soul Shriven. I took up Sword and Shield and using the techniques taught to me by my fathers Redguard crew in my youth I fought my way through the hoardes of Daedra until meeting Lyris who immediately decided that we should save the Prophet from his cell!

With the help of a mad man named Cadwell we used the tunnels inside Cold Harbour to get to the Prophet, however one detail had been spared from my grasp. To save the Prophet, Lyris would have to sacrifice herself and take his place in servitude to Molag Bal.
The Prophet and myself managed to escape Cold Harbour, but the Daedric message etched into every piece of architecture in that hellish building still echoes through my souless body "MOLAG BAL RULES COLD HARBOR".
I have now awoken in Daggerfall, saved by a mysterious crew, I must find this crew and thank them, I owe them that much, I nearly drowned, it appears my quest to meet Emeric must be delayed for a short while... And now I have to deal with this "Vestige" prophecy, am I really destined to save Tamriel?
